Building a Stronger, More Secure, and More Proactive Technology Partnership

Technology is changing rapidly, and so are the security risks, compliance obligations, and technology needs facing organizations of every size.

Throughout the fourth quarter of 2026, Core Integrated Technologies is making one of the most significant investments in our service platform since our company was founded. We are modernizing many of the systems, tools, and processes behind CORECare to provide a higher level of service, stronger cybersecurity, better documentation, expanded compliance capabilities, and a more proactive approach to technology management.

Most of these changes will happen behind the scenes. Others will affect how you interact with our team and the services included in your CORECare relationship.

This page will serve as the central resource for information about the transition. We will update it as the process continues.

What Is Changing?

A Higher Level of Service

We are implementing new systems for managing client environments, delivering support, maintaining documentation, monitoring technology, and automating routine work.

These changes will give our team better information about your environment, help us identify and respond to issues more effectively, improve consistency across our services, and allow us to spend more time proactively improving your technology rather than simply responding when something breaks.

Stronger Security and Greater Visibility

Cybersecurity threats no longer exist within neat boundaries. An attack may involve an endpoint, email account, user identity, cloud application, network, or several systems at once.

Our new platform expands the security capabilities available through CORECare, including stronger endpoint protection and detection, cloud and identity monitoring, email security, network visibility, backup and recovery, automation, and 24/7 security operations capabilities.

Greater visibility helps us identify suspicious activity sooner, better understand what is happening across an environment, and respond more effectively when a potential threat is detected.

Better Documentation

Good technology management depends on knowing what you have, how it is configured, why decisions were made, and what needs attention.

We are substantially expanding our documentation capabilities as part of this transition. Better documentation will help our team support you more consistently, improve technology planning, preserve important institutional knowledge, and provide the records and evidence increasingly required for cybersecurity and compliance.

Expanded Compliance Capabilities

Cybersecurity requirements increasingly come from more than traditional regulations. Organizations may face requirements imposed by customers, contracts, insurance carriers, industry standards, or regulatory frameworks.

Our expanded capabilities will allow us to assess environments against applicable requirements, identify and document gaps, develop remediation plans, maintain supporting evidence and documentation, and, in many cases, implement required technical controls.

Depending on your organization, this may include requirements related to HIPAA, PCI DSS, the FTC Safeguards Rule, cybersecurity insurance, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, CIS Controls, SOC 2, ISO 27001, CJIS Security Policy, and other applicable standards or frameworks.

Our goal is to make compliance part of the ongoing management of your technology rather than something addressed only when an audit, renewal, questionnaire, or customer request arrives.

Cybersecurity Insurance Reviews

As part of this process, we will begin requesting relevant cybersecurity insurance documents from our clients.

This may include your current policy, application, cybersecurity questionnaire or supplemental application, and applicable renewal documentation.

We want to understand the technology and security requirements associated with your coverage and compare those requirements with the systems and services we manage. If we identify a potential gap, we can document it, discuss it with you, and recommend appropriate action.

Our role is focused on the technology and cybersecurity requirements applicable to the services we provide. Questions regarding insurance coverage or interpretation of policy terms should be addressed with your insurance professional or carrier.

Moving Toward More Proactive IT

Perhaps the most important change is not any individual product or platform.

We are continuing to move CORECare beyond the traditional model of waiting for technology to break and then fixing it.

Technology decisions affect productivity, security, compliance, risk, business continuity, growth, and long-term planning. Better documentation and greater visibility give us a stronger foundation to help you understand your environment, identify risks and opportunities, plan for what comes next, and make better technology decisions before problems become emergencies.

Our philosophy remains the same:

Technology should be built around your processes, not prescribe them.

What This Means for Your CORECare Services

Every managed services client will transition to a new 2027 CORECare package that most closely aligns with the organization's technology environment, support needs, security requirements, and applicable compliance needs.

You will receive clear information identifying your proposed services and pricing before your new package takes effect. New CORECare packages will take effect as individual client transitions are completed, but no later than January 1, 2027.

You will also receive Core's current Master Services Agreement (MSA) as we begin this transition. The MSA establishes the general legal and operational foundation of our relationship and does not, by itself, create a new financial commitment.

When you receive your new CORECare quote, it will include the applicable service addenda describing the terms specific to the products and services included in your proposed package. Specific financial commitments are established through accepted quotes, executed orders, and approved recommended action plans.

For Our Co-Managed IT Clients

Our co-managed clients and their internal IT teams interact directly with many of the systems that are changing, so their transition will necessarily be more involved.

We will work closely with each co-managed IT team to plan the transition, establish access to the new platforms, review workflows and responsibilities, provide necessary information and training, and minimize disruption.

Our objective is not simply to replace the tools your IT team uses with Core. It is to improve the platform through which our teams work together.

Frequently Asked Questions

Select a question below to view the answer.

Why is Core making these changes?

We are making these investments to improve the client experience, modernize the systems used to deliver and manage services, strengthen cybersecurity, expand our documentation and compliance capabilities, and prepare both Core and our clients for the changing technology landscape.

Our goal is not simply to deploy new technology. It is to give our team better information, better tools, and better processes to support your organization more proactively.

Will the way I request support change?

Potentially. Some client-facing systems and processes will change as part of the transition. We will communicate those changes before they occur and provide clear instructions.

Why am I receiving a new Master Services Agreement?

We are standardizing managed services clients on Core's current Master Services Agreement.

The MSA establishes the general legal and operational foundation governing our relationship. Signing the MSA by itself does not create a new financial commitment.

When will I receive the service addenda?

Applicable service addenda will be provided with your new CORECare quote. The addenda describe terms specific to the products and services included in your proposed CORECare package.

Is my CORECare package changing?

Yes. Our CORECare packages are being updated for 2027, and managed services clients will transition to a new package as part of this process.

How will Core determine my new package?

We will review your organization and recommend the CORECare package that most closely aligns with your technology environment, support needs, security requirements, and applicable compliance needs.

You will receive a quote clearly identifying the proposed package, included services, and pricing before it takes effect.

When will my new CORECare package take effect?

Transition timing may vary by client as we complete the necessary reviews and system changes. Your new package may take effect before the end of 2026, but all managed services clients will transition to their new 2027 CORECare package no later than January 1, 2027.

Will my pricing change?

Pricing may change depending on the services and protections appropriate for your organization. Any proposed change will be clearly presented to you before it takes effect.

Is Core replacing its current advanced cybersecurity offering?

No. Core's existing advanced cybersecurity offering will remain available.

We are adding another highly integrated security platform capable of providing broader visibility across the technology environment. For some clients, that broader visibility and integration may make the new platform an attractive alternative.

We will evaluate the available options based on each organization's environment, risks, requirements, and security strategy rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach.

Why is Core requesting our cybersecurity insurance information?

Cybersecurity insurance policies and applications may establish specific technology and security requirements.

We want to understand requirements affecting the systems and services we manage so that we can compare them against your technology environment, identify potential gaps, and make appropriate recommendations.

Does Core certify that my organization is compliant?

Not necessarily. Compliance requirements vary considerably.

Core can help assess your technology environment, identify gaps, implement technical controls, maintain documentation, collect evidence, and monitor applicable requirements. Some standards require assessments, certifications, legal determinations, or attestations by other qualified parties.

Where appropriate, we can help coordinate the technology components necessary to support your compliance efforts.

Will there be downtime or disruption?

We are approaching the transition as a phased process designed to minimize disruption. Most changes will happen behind the scenes.

Some transitions may require software changes, device restarts, account or access changes, or other limited involvement. We will communicate with you in advance whenever action is required.

Do I need to do anything now?

No immediate action is required unless we contact you.

During the transition, you should expect communication regarding your updated MSA, 2027 CORECare package, applicable service addenda, cybersecurity insurance documentation, and any technology changes requiring your involvement.
